On May 22, 2022, a training program aimed at enhancing business skills for women entrepreneurs in e-commerce was organized at the Center for Digital Transformation and Innovation at Phu Xuan University – 28 Nguyen Tri Phuong, Hue City.

This event also marked the first introduction of the AAGF-R4-00122 project, with the participation of four members of the Executive Board – former Australian alumni and distinguished lecturers from various universities, along with eight Project Advisors – experienced entrepreneurs in the fields of E-commerce, Law, and Trade Promotion.

AAGF-R4-00122 is a community project sponsored by the Australia Awards Global Alumni (AAGF) fund under the Australia and Vietnam Human Resource Development Program (Aus4Skills). With the goal of equipping women business owners with essential knowledge about E-commerce and the shift in customer behavior to online marketplaces, the project helps female entrepreneurs gain the necessary insights to design adaptable business strategies amidst the continuous changes in customer behavior and market dynamics in the digital era. The entire project is carried out by Australian alumni currently working at universities in the Hue – Da Nang region.

The project aims to strengthen women's leadership, support women-led businesses in overcoming challenges related to digital skills, enabling them to efficiently operate on e-commerce platforms in Vietnam.

This is an opportunity for businesses to connect and discuss upcoming opportunities and directions in e-commerce, helping them maintain and develop their capabilities to promote the sustainable development of their enterprises.
