In honor of the 20th anniversary of its establishment and growth, Phu Xuan University is organizing the online contest "PXU Pride." The contest aims to provide the entire PXU community with a platform to express their sentiments, fostering a sense of connection and pride for their alma mater.
It seemed like just yesterday, but looking back, 20 years have passed (July 11, 2003 – July 11, 2023). In that time frame, Phu Xuan University has taken significant strides, reaping numerous achievements, and fostering the dreams of multiple generations of students. This place has been a haven for educators, from the seasoned veterans of education to entrepreneurial lecturers, and the vibrant young student community, all of whom passionately contributed, studied, and collaborated to shape a reputable university in Central Vietnam.
Some have been companions of PXU for 20 years, 10 years... while others are newcomers with only 2 years, 1 year, or even experiencing the initial days and months here. And now, every student and lecturer can take pride in their efforts, rising above countless challenges, ferrying dream-laden boats across rivers, and illuminating the beautiful aspirations of future generations.
On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, Phu Xuan University hopes to listen to every sharing from its faculty, alumni, and current students who have or will pass through the vibrant days at PXU. Do not hesitate to express your perspectives and genuine emotions, as it is a truly beautiful "birthday gift" dedicated to PXU, enhancing our motivation on the collective journey of nurturing shared aspirations.
1. Time: May 22, 2023 – June 15, 2023
- Submission Period: From May 22, 2023
- Interaction Call: Until 3:00 PM on June 12, 2023
- Results Announcement: June 15, 2023

- Faculty, lecturers, and staff from all generations
- Alumni and current students
3. Contest Mechanism:
3.1. Participation Guidelines:
- Step 1: Post content about a memory or story related to PXU on your personal Facebook page, along with at least 01 publicly shared photo/video and attach 2 hashtags: #ProudPXU #20YearAnniversary
- Step 2: Submit the post link to the organizing committee (BTC) through the link: https://forms.gle/NwDtKo3FN3yn3ycL6
- Step 3: Encourage interactions on the competition entries until 3:00 PM on June 12, 2023.
3.2 Scoring Criteria:
- Interaction points (50%), up to 50 points, including:
- 1 Reaction (like, love, haha): 1 point (excluding "angry")
- 1 Share: 2 points (each account is allowed to share only once)
- Posts using virtual interactions (like hacking, share) will not be counted.
- Judges' scores (50%), up to 50 points: The organizing committee will score valid entries, combining entries with the highest interaction points to select the top 4 outstanding entries for awards. Scoring principles are based on the following criteria:
- Creativity (20 points): Demonstrates creativity in content, images, uniqueness, and impact.
- Message content (20 points): Describes the meaning, has a high impact on the community, and reflects the participant's individuality through stories and shared memories.
- Image/video quality (10 points): Ensures clear and high-quality visuals.
3.2. Notes for Participants:
- Images in the competition entry must be appropriate, adhering to Vietnamese customs.
- A participation entry is considered valid when all steps according to the competition's requirements are completed.
- If participants do not include both required hashtags (#ProudPXU #20YearAnniversary), the entry will be considered invalid.
- Participants must ensure timely submission within the specified deadline. In case of late submissions, the organizing committee will not accept entries for any reason.
4. Prizes:
- 1st Prize: Valued at 2,000,000 VND
- 2nd Prize: Valued at 1,000,000 VND
- 2 3rd Prizes: Each valued at 500,000 VND
- Prizes are non-transferable, non-convertible, and subject to availability.
- In case of disputes regarding the prizes, the decision of the Organizing Committee (BTC) of Phu Xuan University is final.
5. Other Regulations:
- Participants are expected to join the competition with a spirit of sharing and building pride in the University. Therefore, individuals or groups are prohibited from using any form of cheating in the competition. In the event that the Organizing Committee detects signs of cheating, prize hunting, or any actions violating the program's regulations or causing any interference with the accurate final results, the entry will be disqualified from the program without prior notice.
- Participation in the competition also implies that participants allow Phu Xuan University to use their images and participation information for the purpose of brand promotion on various media without any fees.
- The Organizing Committee reserves the right to edit, modify, or temporarily suspend the competition at any time before its conclusion, as well as the right to change the content, conditions, and prize structure according to the actual situation.
The "Proud PXU" online competition is organized with the hope of being a bridge that connects and allows individuals to express their pride and happiness as members of Phu Xuan University, fostering spirit and opening a new chapter.
