This is a new opportunity for Vietnamese students in general and PXU students in particular. The 4-year Bachelor's degree program at Phu Xuan University, with an internationally recognized degree awarded by Broward College (USA), marks the first "sweet fruit" harvested from the collaboration between Phu Xuan University and Broward College.
During this trip to the United States, the Vietnamese delegation, including the leadership of Phu Xuan University , will participate in meaningful activities such as:
- Visiting Broward College and Emil Buehler Aviation Institute.
- Attending the Broward College 2023 Global Conference - Connecting International Partners in Florida, USA.
- Promoting the signing of cooperation agreements and planning actions to implement the collaboration program between the two institutions.
PXU and Broward College officially signed an MOU with the participation of top leaders from both units:
- Ms. Ho Thi Hanh Tien - Rector of Phu Xuan University
- Mr. Nguyen Quang Anh Chuong, Director of International Relations, Vice Rector of Phu Xuan University
- Ms. Thanh Thi Thu Thao, Director of the International Training Institute at Broward Vietnam under Phu Xuan University, the unit responsible for implementing the Broward 4-year program at Phu Xuan University.
- Mr. Gregory Adam Haile, J.D., President of Broward College
- Dr. David Moore, Head of the International Education Department, Broward College
Phu Xuan University and Broward Vietnam are both members of the EQUEST Education Group. Broward College is a public university established by the Florida state government (USA) in 1959. The university currently has nearly 60,000 students from over 100 countries. The institution is ranked by the prestigious Aspen Institute as one of the top 3 community colleges in the United States (2017-2021)
